Justice Department makes it official: Big banks given green light to steal money

After spending the last decade touting their protected status of either “too big to fail” or “too big to jail,” the world’s largest banks, operating in the heart of the financial district of New York, have been given the greatest gift imaginable by the Justice Department. In their new guidelines on prosecution of corporate crime, banks have been given not only a free pass in regard to their financial illegality of the past, but essentially the green light to steal money from the American people through endless fake wealth creation without fear of repercussion.

Once upon a time, we lived in a nation which recognized and upheld the Rule of Law. It is no long shot to attribute decades of unparalleled prosperity to the strict adherence to that Rule of Law.  Honest economies tend to be prosperous economies.  Well, here in America, under our now official crony capitalist system, it seems the that there is little motivation to head out of the economy circus we have collectively entered as a nation, as we undoubtedly herald our own demise in economic suicide.
