If he captures the White House in November, Joe Biden has promised to implement a nationwide mask mandate, shut down the economy, and presumably lock up anyone who does not obey his administration’s orders.
During a recent interview with ABC News, Biden explained to “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir that his plan for overcoming the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) is to basically close everything up and force everyone to stay at home again indefinitely.
“I would shut it down; I would listen to the scientists,” Biden told Muir during the interview, adding that President Donald Trump’s response to the plandemic has been “fundamentally flaw[ed].”
Until the so-called “public health emergency” is declared to be over by Anthony Fauci, the World Health Organization (WHO), and other “experts,” there will be no opening back up the economy under a Biden presidency.
“I will be prepared to do whatever it takes to save lives because we cannot get the country moving until we control the virus,” Biden added.
“That is the fundamental flaw of this administration’s thinking to begin with. In order to keep the country running and moving and the economy growing, and people employed, you have to fix the virus, you have to deal with the virus.”
Chances are that Biden would not remain very long as president, however, as the Democrats could actually be planning to install Nancy Pelosi as president – even if Trump wins. Listen below to The Health Ranger Report to learn more:
While Biden has certainly said a lot of stupid things over the years, this latest gaffe, which he does not even recognize as such, could seal his fate as the loser in the upcoming election. This is what many observers are saying, noting that most Americans are not on board with any more lockdowns.
Writing for Town Hall, Matt Vespa says that mandatory house arrest and nationwide forced masking spells the end of Biden’s chances. Americans want to be free to live their lives, in other words.
“Every House and Senate Democrat needs to be asked right now if they will back President Biden on shutting down the economy,” says Brad Todd, co-author of the book The Great Revolt, which covers the populist surge in rural America that helped Trump win back in 2016.
“Time for the Fourth Estate to do its job on holding them accountable,” he adds.
Some commentators are pushing the idea that Trump has lost support due to his reopening the economy “too soon.” But the fact of the matter is that this may have actually been the consequence of him not fully reopening it a whole lot sooner, or allowing it to be shut down at all.
“Trump’s lower polling moments in the pandemic have been when he suggested a polar response,” Todd tweeted. “Non-liberal voters do not want a polar response – they want normalcy with precautions. Biden is giving the ultimate polar response here and it will sting.”
Todd has also warned against the threat of those who say we must sacrifice the economy and freedom at large on the altar of public health. Giving up liberty and commerce for this reason is “salvific,” he says, and most people do not support such an idea.
“People want commerce – and school – to go on,” Todd says. “That’s a provable fact. Only the Left wants to ‘shut it down.’ Joe has made a major mistake here – his biggest yet.”
